Role of Power & Privilege in Radicalisation

We delivered workshops to four of the sixth form classes at Ellen Wilkinson School for Girls’ Enrichment Day. We played games and had group discussions which explore the role power and privilege has on online radicalisation. Specifically we explored how radical groups may groom young people based on perceived commonality of marginalised characteristics. We delivered to over 100 students who all came from very diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Over 85% of participants said they felt that their perspective was valued during the session.
